The design of this faceplate incorporates a 2" dovetail to fit standard 2" Patriot jaws. It works like ordinary faceplates but much more straightforward and convenient to fit.
Simply mount the faceplate onto a bowl blank with screws and then hold the faceplate in the Patriot 2” Jaws. Complete the outside of the bowl leaving a suitable internal or external dovetail to match the 2” Remove the faceplate and attach the part finished bowl onto the Chuck 2” Jaws. This method is quite a good time saver.
