ProEdge Standard Gouge Jig

This jig machined from solid steel fits on the ProEdge machine table. The bar underneath the V block slides along the machine table channel from side to side. By placing the tool into the V block and adjusting the table angle in relation to the belt until the desired bevel is met, once set it is simply a case of rotating the tool in the V and a perfect bevel angle and sharp cutting edge is achieved. It gives total control and easy sharpening of all standard ground woodturning gouges and carving chisels.
