Veritas Lapping Grit 90 grit, 4oz

  A range of grits available 90, 180, 280, 400 & 600. Supplied in 2oz pots. The 90 grit powder is also available in a larger 4oz pot.

• 280 grit for twisted, wavy or linished objects
• 400 grit for ground surfaces with a slightly rough texture
• 600 grit for surfaces requiring little material removal.

While any grit size will ultimately achieve the same end result (since particles become progressively finer during the lapping process), the coarser the abrasive, the longer it takes to achieve a smooth surface.
